Dilling machine
In this analyses I did a lot of desinging en problemsolving for my drilling machine.
I started with making a exploded view of my drilling machine were I made a picture of all the individuele parts, needed to order them by a number a made a small discription for it.
After the exploded view we were told that a drilling machine could be made for different people. I figuered that you have 2 types of people who use it, people who use it mabye once or twitce a year for household chores and people who use it for their job, for example for contruction work.
I seperated the two and made different types of needs that the two groups love.
When the needs were set we were told to do a function tree were we seperate every function the drilling machine has, function as rotation speed, power of the drill and swapping different drillheads. On every function you need to put 2 different support functions that again expands further.
In every analysis there is allways what we call in dutch a PvE (progamma van eisen). It is like project requirements, its a long list of different requirements that the has been orderd by people at the top of a buisniss for example. It was surprising to me that some of these list can be allmost a whole book on its own.
The best part in my opinion was the time were I had to make a 2D drawing about a part of the drilling machine. I made the part in a 3D projection program named Inventor 2019. In the 3D projection I was able to make different 2D views of the part in a American projection.
In conclusion, you can see that a drillingmachine has different kinds of problems and needs for different kinds of people. The most important subjects were the PvE, functiontree, funciton summary. Every week I got more idea's about the subject and with time I improved on other aspects. In the end were a lot of improvement subjects used for the drillmachine.
